(I thought with 12 players they'd assign 2 tables but it'll be Sunday morning, no one's gonna be there but us).

Be aware that for next years Origins there are multiple events going on in Columbus during our weekend. A number of hotels have already run out of Origins rooms. The Hyatt was also problematic, so you may want to confirm your room earlier rather than later.....

Laura pointed out that the wrong days are written up there (the number not the day of the week). so I fixed em for you.

Last year's Code is not being honored with the Origins Registration.

Nope. They haven't even gotten the group stuff started yet. I'll post when I have the new code for this year.

Oh and speaking of getting in on this great deal, IF you are planning on going to Origins and have not already given me your Name and Email (the one you use to register). You need to get that to me in the next week! If you've already given me this info, no worries you stay on the list...

So, it's been several years since I attended Origins, and I don't remember the protocol for entering the group code. Would someone please be kind enough to provide refresher instructions? Thanks!!

Sure Deb, Super easy. First off both you and Floyd are on our list so that part is all set (unless you've changed the email you both use to log into the Origins system (I have you both down with a comcast.net addy))

Now all you have to do is wait...

Eventually, Origins will give me a secret code for all our members to log in with. When they give it to me, I'll post it here. You just get your badge like normal and at the end it'll ask for the secret code and VOILA! you just saved $20 per badge.

THEN (and this is the REAL important part) you go down to the food court, to the Gyros place and buy a Diet Peach Snapple Iced Tea. Then bring that to me! Now we're square!

Guess I should've been more patient - I already bought my badge (and I will be soloing it at Origins - Floyd will be staying home with the puppies).

But I can still hook you up with a Diet Peach Snapple Iced Tea.

Still not a problem. You're on the list, either speak to them when the group codes are available or buy a second and get a refund for the first.

(And bummer about Floyd, have only gotten a couple of minutes to say hello during the last couple of GenCons)
