Took me aa while to figure out how to find how to register for events. Mostly cause I was on my phone for much of the day.

Signed up for episodes 7, 8, 9, 10, PA (though not in that order)

Well, the misleading "1:00 CST" caused me some pain (in that the personal agendas were completely sold out by the time I was able to register). :-(

Mega paranoia has been submitted under our Guild of San Marcos banner. And the adventure is written and formatted. Which never happens this early. Probably listed in the larps, I have not looked at the list.

<MAYR - da!> Did they really expect me to sign up for events in Italy? They really will want to waive this fee in some cases.

And, now. the PAs are sold out already? Merda!!

Every year the registration process is a pain. I am still trying to figure out how this year managed to be worse.

The trick to Origins reg is something Mark and I solved years ago. If you schedule all your time running events, you don't have time to play and thus no need to register.

So! Origins has retroactively given my credit card a $30 adjustment for the Guild of San Marcos benefit. Yay!

Did you email them or did it happen automatically?

I initially emailed Bruce Langdon, listed as the Registration Coordinator, on March 19, notifying him that the GoSM Group Code wasn't recognized when I tried to register. We exchanged a couple of emails.

Two weeks later, just before leaving for Italy, I tried one last time, and registered anyway when it still didn't work. I notified him at that time that I would be speaking to persons in the Origins lines about refunds. :x

A quick question Mark:

How come only 6 players per event? Will others be accepted with generics?

we have always listed six with the plan to accept 2 generics. It keeps us from leaving you all out in the cold at an 8 player table. depending on the GM and players we can even stretch that to 10 if we really need to do so. (and that really depends on all the players involved. Those of us who know each other really well are a little more accepting of a big group where we all know we will do less individually but will enjoy the time together)

and keep in mind that even with those 2 extra slots, we are selling out most events. but you always have sunday morning to get into something.

I would probably do the 8 per table like at GenCon but I know we have overflow GMs for Origins so I'm a bit more relaxed about it. Like Dave said, we can accommodate up to 10 per table on occasion (and we rarely get more than about 12 showing up for any one slot).

I personally prefer a table with 6 because I get to give more folks individual attention, but we'll make do regardless.

As long as i dont get anopther 13 person episode 2, I think i can handle it. Los Cazadores is only so big, after all.

When we show up, do ee have to use the official character sheet, or is a home made one allowed.

I mostly find my home made sheet easier to read is all.

I let Charlie use my character sheet once. We really don't care as long as you can tell what your stats are.

Yup, we decided early on to let the players take care of their own character sheets while we deal with everything else ;)
