And now for the bad news. What you see above listed, is all we'll be running this year at GenCon. I darn near drove Sam away from every playing with us again by not refusing anyone a seat (and that doesn't even begin to count the fact that Ken and I were wiped out by the last day). We're popular, I get it. But we need to not wear our GMs out (and that includes me). So, we'll take a max of 8 people per table, the number of tables listed per timeslot is all the tables we'll run and that's that.

As much as i hate turning people away, Im in on this plan. How many tickets are we preselling to each event this year?

And are you going to put a note on PA to tell people that prior playing with us is required?

Sorry Ken, I read the first part of your comment and promptly forgot to respond to the rest.

1. Preselling 8 tickets/table. Got a well reasoned argument from Derek Guider (in charge of GenCon's events) about why we shouldn't undersell and then take extras. Crux of it was, So, you're punishing those who are so eager to play in your games that they'll sign up early in favor of folks who can't even get it together enough to decide whether they'll want to play your game until the last minute?

2. Changed the end of all the events to "We suggest beginning with a Flashback adventure" And for the Flashback adventures (the ones Sam and Alexandra are running) it says, "New to the campaign? This is where you want to start! Our Flashback events are Player's choice of our earliest retired events" then it tells them whether they can choose 1, 3, or 5, OR 2, 4, or 6.

You do remember I am coming too? So you can add in a few more games. I just want to get in one LARP with BYOV if they are running this year. Have you finalized the registration on what we have?

Remind me again why you all love that con?

I get Ken, it's in his yard.

On the topic of my yard, in a pinch someone could set up a tent.

Hopefully I got into the only one of Mr. Wick's events I could actually make...

Mark, I can cover anything but the PA for you. And in a pinch, i could at least three-quarter-ass my way thru it, and have someone else run the adventure half

Thanks Ken, but everyone's safe. I explained that of the four sessions I could only make one of them, as I'd be RUNNING 7th Sea during all the rest... That seemed to satisfy them. So I will be playing Friday 2-6pm.

But, you don't know which game at the moment?

Zero Hour for requesting games is today, the fifteenth! Now that I know the "Wish List" is important, I'll do one this year.

Well I don't know what the name of the adventure is, but it's the 7th Sea 2nd Ed. World Event (which is how it's named on the emails). It's part of the rewards I got for backing the Kickstarter.

Madre de Dios!

I tried an EBay trick, and despite it (maybe) ended up #1795 in line anyway. But, I got Four :D 7th Sea 2.0 games, including Blackmail in Montaigne and The Missing Mayor from Wick Prod., plus the PA, of course.

Well, I wasn't fast enough to get into any 2nd edition games in the slots I'm open, but I'll try to crash them with generic tickets. If that fails, I'll come back to you with my generics.
