I am now officially "In the House" as all the cool kids say (or did back in 1990-whatever). Trip was generally uneventful save the fact that the deer fairly committed suicide this year leaving their corpses in the middle of the road (presumably for easy counting). Final count on the way in, 35.

Oh and the orange bottle brigade? They're just messing with me now. I saw not a single bottle. Let me repeat that, NOT. ONE. SINGLE. BOTTLE. And I looked, I promise. It's a conspiracy I tell you...

Oh and Megan, I listened to 23 episodes of Black Jack Justice (and am 3/4 of the way through the 24th episode). So I should be up through 48-50 by GenCon. Oh and you were right, whatever you did, it does make the episodes just keep playing (though I did have to jump past The Red Panda every 6 or so episodes)

We'll be heading out around 11am. Packing now. Muffin is supervising.

Wandering around the convention center. Wow, some major changes. Upside, the food court is back in functional condition.

Day 1 synopsis. All four games went off, despite the fact that we had to run Ep 1 instead of 9 (again). Lots of new folks showed up to play and as a bonus, they all bought several other tickets for later events. Episode 13 was the most fun to run. Not only because of the adventure but because of who just happened to sit at my table. I think Lady Grace may not ever be able to wipe the smirk off her face .

Day 2 synopsis. Since I had so much fun day 1's run of episode 13, I can't rightly say that 14 was as good but it was still lots of fun. Lotta laughs Ken ran episode 3 and was done and hour and a half early even though he did everything in the adventure and added in two things of his own. Play test was very informative and lots of fun. But I still have a lot to rewrite which is good.

EDIT: forgot to add in, introduced Connie and Roger to kittens in a blender!

Saturday night at Origins, and it's been a pretty great con. Had a blast playing Episodes 13 and 14, and the PA absolutely lived up to expectations (my first full-blown exposure to Team Heretic proved to be highly entertaining, and Caitlin's fiance is a complete boor - I love it!). Many thanks to Mark, Dave, and Ken for providing such entertaining adventures!

Had a fantastic time at Origins. All three of the new adventures (Episodes 13, 14 and the PA) were outstanding (well, except for Mark deciding stealing my character's beloved Mandolin... :o ) Many, many thanks!

Literally stepped out of the car to the sound of the backup sump pump ( leaky basement pipe spraying water) AND a tree falling over in my woods.

Seriously, first two seconds and there was falling timber.

Ride home was good. Miss you all, thanks for a top drawer year.

I made it home fine, and as a bonus I got home half an hour earlier than I expected. Also, a big THANK YOU to everyone who called/texted me just to check up and make sure that I was doing ok (especially Dave who offered to talk to me on the phone for a while if I needed it). You are all truly wonderful!

Going back to bed now because I've already woken up twice to get the kids off to school and I could use a couple more hours of sleep. Be back on later to give my summary

No, I need at least a month to procrastinate about the PA and another to get it right. So, late August maybe.

Be careful - we just might hold you to that. ;)

(Since I'm not sure I can wait a whole year for another PA.....)

ok, now that I have a keyboard to work with...

Thanks and welcome to Bob, Carl, Jan, Kevin, Teos, David, Patrick, and Ron for joining the campaign and playing at my table during the weekend. (For you vets, the new guys this year were amazing and will be really interesting to see interact with you all)

Thanks to Charlie for being Charlie. Thanks to Stephen for covering a session for us. Thanks to Sam for taking on some pick up games with the new guys (but as mentioned above, It was probably it's own reward) Mark... well we really don't need words do we? thanks to Sam and Alexandra for the continued onslaught of Orange beverages. Thanks to Mike and Katie for being such easy roomies. (no thanks to Jeremy, he never logs in to look)

For all our complaints about registration and staff, the onsite team went above and beyond to not only help me handle something but to make sure I was being kept up to speed on the matter as it was dealt with. I know Mathew and Molly probably won't see it but thanks to them and the team.

Thanks to Amanda for sharing the baby.

Thanks to everyone who offered to grab food on the days I was trapped in the Champaigne room.

Thanks for being so welcoming! (This is Bob) My friends and I had a blast, and it was great meeting everyone!

I definitely will be back next year, if not sooner! (total con wouldn't be that bad a drive compared to ohio...)
