So, our Origins friends seem to have made a game within the game for us. The online event spreadsheet has been scrambled today and is no longer in chronological order. :)

At least you can get the grid. I just keep getting the good old database/server error on the site as a whole.

And, that's just what was missing! Thanks, Mark.

And, this year is worse that in previous years, IMO.

Only took 6.5 hours to register, and surprising only missed out on 1 event. Looks like I'm going to Columbus... Now I have to figure out the LARP, what to wear, who to play.....

I cannot find MegaParanoia on Saturday night for Mike...it IS #1176, right?

ETA: *double-checks updated grid*

Yep it still is...but I am not seeing ANYTHING for MP on Saturday. Nothing under Megaparanoia, 1176 or that Sccob (and yes, that's how it was in the grid listing) title under ANYTHING (LARPS, et al).

Well, finally.

I managed to get eleven events. Except for one; and, that does not come up under either the event number or the name.

If you do a search on the event # (1176), and use "all" for both the date and the game type, it comes up.

Thanks, Cait...must have fixed the "All" option after I went to bed. Mike can sign up himself when he gets home now.

But yeah...Event Ready is a piece of outdated fecal matter and needs to be fired. We at least got into the events we wanted at the times we liked, but it was NOT a fun afternoon yesterday.

I hear you - I spent about 6 hours repeatedly attempting to register. I could find all of my events, but it wouldn't let me add them to my itinerary. Incredibly frustrating, but at least it's done.

I should note, however, that we didn't get them until May 10th last year.

That is still not cool. That code has no reason to need to be available when they start badge reg.

So I managed to miss the LARP while picking my tickets, and now it won't let me pay for it, as it, there is no option to enter a payment. Stepping away before I throw my computer.

Clearly they are hoping that people won't bother to ask for the refund.

Deb, generics will cover you for the LARP. Same for anybody else in the same situation. We don't turn folks away from that who are regulars.

I actually got a ticket for the LARP (unless you were talking to another Deb....)

I even signed up for a couple of seminar sessions on Saturday.

I guess he was answering me. I'm not too worried, just annoyed that it really does get worse and worse every year. I pointed out on their FB page that I stood in line with pencil and paper my first year, and it was faster and less frustrating than this mess.

Well that should be fun. And speaking of old, I recall mailing in the event list, waiting for confirmation and still having two months before the con to play refresher sessions at home.

Every con on Earth handles this same thing but only Origins makes a hash of it. EVERY TIME.
