In theory, it goes live in a couple of hours...*shouts expletives about EventReady's track record*

Not a bad experience. Got into the registration at 11:06, out by 11:22. Got all but one of my first choices (Missed out on an Ed Rollins game, so no surprise there). Numbers for the event changed, but all in all the wait room worked, registration worked smoother than any recent Origins. Pleased....

Yeah, the numbers getting switched was annoying, but got my 7th Sea stuff!

I agree, Charlie. Was a bit thrown by the last minute changes to event IDs, but got into all of my 7th Sea games, so I'm happy. :D

If they get around to sending out a code, I might show up.

Ask for and ye shall receive. I have the Origins Club Code. It's good for all of you who gave me your email at one point in history (there are 62 discounts available so if you've gotten it before, you're good to go now).

Here are your instructions:
Paul McGraw wrote:Please be sure to follow the instructions below when registering your badge.

Coupon Code: vMv5tZZe

1. Go to the Origins website and click on registration in the black menu bar toward the top of the page.
2. Click on the “Register Here” button below the black menu bar.
3. Select the “Full Show Badge” role when filling out the first page.
4. Continue through the registration process until the final/checkout page at the end.
5. Input the code below in the coupon code field and click “Apply”
6. Finish paying for your remaining balance.

Can the discount be applied even if you bought your badge already or do I have to call/wait 'til I'm stuck in the damn line to get it fixed?

I actually have no idea LG (I don't bother getting a badge beforehand because I never actually play anything). But if you do it (buy your badge and see if it works out) I promise to tell everyone else what happened ;)

Well, right now I'm not seeing anything online where I can edit/add the badge code. REALLY wish Origins/EventReady wouldn't constantly wait until AFTER event registration to send the discount. :(

I've always had to wait in the Problem Line from half an hour to an hour in order to ask for the refund.

For those looking to get their discount applied retroactively, I've been working with someone to get that taken care of for my own badge. She already helped me out with an issue where I was double charged for some of my tickets, and is working on the discount right now. I mentioned knowing a few others that were in the same boat as me and she said to send them her way.

melissa.jacobs@gama.org

Just make sure you say it's about applying the discount retroactively, that you're part of The Guild of San Marcos, and include the code: vMv5tZZe

If you email
registration@gama.org (Melissa) and ask her to apply your discount (Give the code), she can do it or mail a check if it's been too long since you bought your badge.

Sadly, I got hit with an illness and believe it or not a Raccoon home invader that ate my Origins vacation time. So I'll have to wait until GenCon to see you guys.

Yes but did he steal any prosthetics you might have?

And on another note, 16 days until I leave!

Nope 100% raccoon, would have been more hilarious if it were a rabbit.

The Apple App store has the 2019 Origins App, listing all events, your events with room location (Altimara is in Union D), exhibitors and a whole lot more....
