Countdown to OGC 2020

Postby Black Jack Rackham » Wed Mar 18, 2020 5:01 pm

I know it's ambitious for me to start this, but our events are in, so hopefully we'll be going.

First off, new venue, SO NO PIRATE SHIP :.( (actually not that sad about it, the lighting on the pirate ship was terrible making it hard to see dice rolls).

Here's the new place if you're interested.

Westford Regency
219 Littleton Road Westford, MA 01886
Telephone: 978-692-8200
eMail: info@westfordregency.com

So far it's just me going (we'll see if Megan or Laura can make it). So the event list is a little small.

Friday, July 17th
2-6pm HoA, Ep. 19 - Rising Tensions
7-11pm HoA, Ep. 20 - The Keystone (this is usually the spot where I do the 1-shot for Lisa and friends)

Saturday, July 18th
9am-1pm HoA, Ep. 19 - Rising Tensions
2-6pm HoA, Ep. 20 - The Keystone
7-11pm HoA, Personal Agendas

Hmmm....could be an alternative for Origins, if it gets cancelled.

I mentioned in the GenCon thread that SDCC (again, San Diego Comic Con, the biggie as far as comic conventions go) called it quits on this year's convention (which is one week before GenCon) as far as OGC goes, well, they're the same week. So it's not looking good for this one either. I've talked to John Sussenberger (he and his wife Lisa run OGC) a couple of times. And word as of now is, wait and see.

BUT I got a bad feeling about this...
