In line at 6:33 for pre-reg pickup. I was #2 in line (what has happened to the youth of America!). Pre-reg started 12 minutes early at 6:48. Was walking out of pre-reg at 6:50. Quite painless.

Item 1: GM HQ. If you find it, tell Ken where it is. (While you are at it, inform Origins staff of the location. They seem to have misplaced it.)

Item 2: A set dice in a color i have never seen before. Unique swirl patterns count.

Item 3: a player experiencing "That moment" in episoee 9 should it get run this weekend.

Item 4: gamers crashed in the corner on a floor too tired to play.

Item 5: a place you were surprised to find a line.

Item 6: somebody having the hest game ever.

Item 7: the most stereotypical gamer you see.

Item 8: a pile of loot after the dealer room visit.

It will have to be from Hall C, hall A has the other con in the room.

This year we're sharing the convention center with the Ohio Dental Association. Gamers are already stealing their swag bags.

Gamers have dental hygene now?!!!

So much has changed since '96.

And the shot from the escalator...I am pretty sure, Mark will look at that and be able to smell the convention hall scent of dust and industrial cleaner.

So after my noon event did not go off I headed down to registration area customer service. With 50 or so people in line I decided to wait till later. The picture shows the pre-reg line waiting to print tickets. The line runs the whole corridor parallel to exhibit hall C. Lots of noon events are not going off because there is no GM’s line anymore. Let’s remember there are 10 stations to print tickets, so at about 60 seconds to do so the end of the line should be ticket somewhere between 2:30 and 4:00…

And no Dave, this is not line 5 for the scavenger hunt…

So evidently the computers went down and they have to replace all of the laptops. How very Origins….

Just checked again at 2:30, the new computers are in and half the line has gone through. Considering it’s 1:30 minutes later they have made great progress.
