Most places are taking bookings with Origins rates. Heard about the Hyatt and possibly the Drury. Be careful with the Old Crowne Plaza, I was completely unimpressed in September. Plus, the safety of cars is in question.

Ah crap! Curse me for my laziness. That's exactly the place I got reservations. Tell me more about the car safety issue Charlie! (I can always pay to park elsewhere).

Ask Ken. He was directly effected.

That garage has always been wide ioen a cessible from 3 streets. Far too easy to slip in and out for those wanting to break in.

Event list?

For Origins?

4 weeks and 3 days from now if history is proof of anything.

Their website indicated that the event list would be available on May 9th, with registration opening on May 21st.

I have the CLUB CODE!

Now Origins has changed some things up. Basically we GMs have to run a certain number of hours to get our badges and it used to be that same total would apply for the club discount. Now we have to run our hours IN ADDITION to the hours for the club code. So long and the short of it is, we can give 20 discounts this year (and probably most years)

Several of you whom I know are going already have an PM from me giving you the code. But if you didn't get one and have not already bought your badge, lemme know, we have a few extras.

RIP BD Mongolian Grill. Word came out it's permanently closed, probably due to Covid. You will be missed...

All events have not been entered yet. The only events in the system have been assigned rooms. There are only 5 types or RPG's in the system. Finally, there are less than 100 RGG events in system, which is a fraction of normal.

Good to know. The website is a bit misleading (I'm sure you're all shocked) - the link simply states "Event Schedule Available!". Hopefully, it'll be finished in advance of the May 21st registration date....

Well, Origins insists that all is well. 'Take a look at the "Tabletop.events" website.'

I can see TTE mentioned once, but not how to get there.

In fact, one can view some 1900 events with a search. Unfortunately, several of the criteria, like publisher, don't seem to work.

I mentioned that the "Origins Spotlight", at the bottom of one of the sites which tells one how to order event tickets, still says 2021, so something is not right.

I recall similar problems last year, but not this bad.

Just received a mass email from Origins. Apparently, they are behind on entering events into the TTE platform. They stated that they are "on track to have all the events placed before the May 21 registration date". Fingers crossed....

Maybe this is causing a delay... needing to move badge registration and hall E

Edit: on watching it again... that might be the entrance outside the c hall bathroom

Second edit. A hall. Just south of the Arnold statue
