Whew! Luckly it isn't in April, as the full eclipse will go right over Ohio, and from what I am reading, hotels are going to be sold out in the eclipse zone. Maybe if I am lucky, I might try to make it next year, depends on the flow of funds and a few other things.

Badges are on sale tomorrow. They have added another level of Badge, the premium badge, that lets you register for hotel rooms a week early as well as other bennies. Also, room blocks seem to open in November, check the Origins site for exact dates.

Ok, fixed the list of events. Just know that I am not sold on the name/plot of the LARP so consider that a place holder.

*buffs her new Journeyman sword pin for Annie*

Got this silver sword pin when I visited Ireland back in '19 -- I've been wanting to wear this bad girl specifically for this!

Looking forward to seeing it!!!

With all the "real life" stuff I've got going on, I find myself really looking forward to Origins - not sure how I'm gonna make it through the next seven months!

Where amongst the episodes will the LARP take place? Would it be beneficial to finish 23 and 24 first?

I will make sure is nothing spoilered if you plan on playing the final events saturday or at another con.

In our head, this is probably taking place after and presuming the heroes save the day as usual. A chance to celebrate our great characters before we move on to a new campaign.

Charlie dropped me a note to remind folks that Hotel Registration goes live today @ 1pm. I know that's not much time but, well, this is Origins folks...

For those that missed the memo from Origins...

The group rate is a thing of the past. Instead, they focused on the early bird discount.

That early bird discount ends on Friday Feb 2. That is in a couple days. So if you have not registered, now would be the time.

Looks like some events are starting to populate the event schedule, but only a few. None from the guild yet.

So, it looks like our events have been entered, however, the times appear to be off (9 am games on Mark's list appear to have 8 am start times). At first, I thought maybe it was adjusting for the fact that I'm CDT, but according to the page, the times are Eastern.

Mark - you might want to check with the organizers.

Nope I think it was my bad. I have an email in to them but we may just have to contend with 8am games on Thur, Fri, and Sat.

It's actually almost everything - the sessions start at 8, noon, and 6, except for Wednesday, which starts at 7.

And it looks like the LARP has not been entered yet.

So...the LARP will be before the PAs then?

(it's been 4 years, so I don't know if that's the usual set up anyways)

Yes for us (meaning it occurs on Friday and the PAs are on Saturday) as for when in the timeline they take place, that's more nebulous.
