Well I just got an email asking me to check over my events one last time (just in case) to make sure nothing hinky appears. So I'd say, "soon"

But Event Registration is the 20th and the unofficial word is they're trying to get it ready for the 6th.

By my (admittedly amateur) calculations you just have to be at a computer at 6pm on the 21st (there).

Well let's see: if I owned a laptop, tablet or smartphone, I wouldn't take it to Europe; most of the three-star hotels don't have an in-house PC with Internet or it is silly-expensive; I could sneak or wander into a four or five star hotel and try to use an even more silly-expensive PC; or I could try my luck at a public Internet Point sitting at a cardboard cubicle with twenty-five other Indians who are trying to call home!

Official word has come down from on high. The Event Lists will be up tomorrow at 6pm (est). Everything looked fine when I checked them over two days ago, and, I believe I have already given you the event numbers (but I'll double check here just to make sure). So everything for GenCon is ready...

Ok Event Lists are out. Looks like there are a couple of oddities on our Events but all in all everything is good. We'll be all the way out at the western end of the convention (just like last year) in the JWMarriott. For the most part we'll be in Room 209 (there is one event right now assigned to room 203 but I've emailed Derek to see if we can fix that) using tables 1 and 2.

Also if you're curious, we will not be rubbing elbows with the Crimson Valor folks this year . Since they're part of a Premere Group, they get to be in the ICC itself (Sagamore Ballroom).

Just a reminder, Next Sunday (May 20th) at 12 noon est Event Registration opens for GenCon. HoA has 10 events (9 of which have event numbers). If you're interested in DOMINGO GIGANTE! You'll either have to get a ticket from me or Deb or show up Sunday morning at 10 (first chances go to ticket holders of course).

Two updates, first the obvious. Tomorrow noon (EST) event registration goes live (I'll be there since there are a couple of CoC games I'd like to try and get into. Yea I know, fat chance).

Second, they've updated the events list to include most of the late arriving stuff (so you might want to download it and see if anything you're interested in has been added).

Ok so lost out on most of what I was interested in (no surprise there). But half an hour into Event Registration HoA has sold 22 tickets (out of 54) and 2 events are sold out already! Not too shabby, not too shabby at all.

I leave to go run my regular game here at home and when I get back I find that 6 of our 9 events have sold out and there are only 6 tickets left! I am truly humbled!

Reason Origins is better #38, apparently GenCon does not offer enough events to entertain everyone seeing as we are near sell out AND Mark missed out on most of his wish list at the opening bell.

Alright, we still have a bit of a problem with one of the events being in a different room, but it's at least closer than it was (next door). So here's all the events with their room/table numbers. (oh and as an added bonus, when I look at the details of each of the events, I can see who bought the tickets. It's really kind of cool!)
