I can't believe I'm actually writing this, given that TC 2014 was just a month ago, BUT, I got this little blurb over on FB yesterday...

Holiday Inn is sold out for the dates.

I heard that. Apparently it sold out in less than two weeks. Suddenly TC is having growing pains. I am half worried they might have to move to a new hotel at some point here soon (which would mess up its convenience for me).

I've purchased my tickets! $156.20 RT for airfare.

In other news, for some odd reason, the TC folks are touting the fact that the hotel registration is open. Not sure why they'd do that if the hotel is filled...

Looks like TC's event submission page is up and running. I'll get right on that, just wanted you to know. (and yes, I'll post the schedule as soon as I do).

Ok looks like I jumped the gun on this one. They're having problems with the page again, so they cannot access it (which is why it's open, they can't turn it off). I asked around and it seems like it should be fixed in the next week or so.

I'll keep you updated.

Well spoke too soon. The system is up, and this morning I went to put my events in, and AS PER MY USUAL M.O. BROKE THEIR SYSTEM. I'm getting sql errors all over the place, so they're having a look at it DOH!

More on Mark's ability to destroy TC's event submission system. 12 of my 13 events went in with no problems. Then, of course, on lucky number 13, the system freaked out. Only thing I can think of is, there is an exclamation point on the end of DOMINGO GIGANTE! and for some reason, the system doesn't like that. They're looking into it now. Needless to say, the rest of the events are in, so our schedule SHOULD look like this...

Still haven't heard back from TPTB about DOMINGO GIGANTE! so I sent an email.

You may also note that I am not running a kiddos thing this year. My daughter wishes to play a game with me rather than have me run one, so we'll find something we can do together. That means I may just be running DOMINGO GIGANTE! this year.

I think you typoed that. You always RUN Domingo. I think you may be PLAYING it. I recommend episode 8, it's full of wholesome child stuff.

New event to add to the TC lineup. Not directly related to HoA but it is about things I wrote. On Saturday at noon I will be doing a reading from one of my books (or maybe several, who knows ) It's only an hour but I will be bringing books to sign and sell. Hope to see you there

The Total Con peeps have caught a version of the Origins' peeps disease.

Five weeks and no Registration yet!

Local cons I figure about a month beforehand is plenty of lead time. Speaking of, ask and you shall receive. Found this on the TC FB page.
