Waaahhh?

No background yet (other than that one day Yves will be the Domni of a young Knight of the Rose and Cross named Miguel Orozco de Torres, no doubt spurred on by Miguel's Aunt, Elvira).

Aaaahhhhh!!!. Cross campaign timelines just flooded my brain. He's Miguel's future Domini but it's 1668. And Miguel was very active in 1668. If you really want to make stuuf crazy, Yves should have rodrigo as his Domini (who is nowhere near ready to be that responsible in 1668). I would express jealousy at you having 2 players running characters linked to Don Miguel but then I remember there are at least 9 salamancas running amok.

*Blush* I'm greatly honored by the compliment Rodrigo. I started to explain how the timeline was off, but as I write it down now it seems Miguel would be around 16-17 at the start of this campaign. That's ok he had a number of years of wandering before settling down enough for acceptance into the Knights.

And I have a firm policy of not letting pesky little things like the facts interfere with a good story. So, Miguel is going to be young (but not young enough not to get into any trouble)...

And I was just considering changing Romeo's middle name to Miguel and taking a long lost background.... Actually, that might be a fun pick up game. "The young adventures of the Rose and Cross". We alternate between playing our characters at age 8 and 17 interacting in every major historical event and with every famous person. Then we get hats and whips... What do you mean it's been done?

Sorry, I roleplayed online waay before I started gaming. Started roleplaying when I was 11 (Which is when Suria the "Dragon Princess"/"Elven Warrior"/"Elven Fire Elementalist"/"Water Mage"/"Mary Sue" was born...for the first time.)
So I guess I'm used to more of the online lingo.

See, I knew what she meant but anytime something gets referred to urban dictionary I suddenly assume it also has an inappropriate meaning. Now keep in mind when Kara says around 11, she means around the time we last had a 7th sea book published.

Nope, no inappropriate meaning there. (I checked the page before I posted it)

Start with the event that made him want to do really reckless and dangerous stuff in the name of heroics then cover what he did to draw the attention of therose and cross. Make sure you include a couple people you owe a favor and at least a pair you owe a good thrashing. DO NOT start at your birth aand cover every moment siince.

Just a note for Yves (if he ever finds his password). He played through both the Poison Background this year at TC and the introduction to the Knights of the Rose and Cross Background (the latter of which I still need to give him xp for).

Well, yeah...but Kick is a specific advanced knack in DF.
