Scott's Character: Kerrin McIntosh

What would make the humble daughter of a chandler in the Highland Marches take to the sea? Well that is a complicated story best left to be written in an heroic epic in the hopefully not to distant future. For now if you keep your tongue I shall keep mine, agreed?

Since it seems there are 2 definitions of chandler to clarify I mean a ship's chandler. A store specialized in outfitting sailing ships, not a candle maker.

Sailor - Highland Sea Dog

She can speak, read and write in her native Avalon and is able to speak Castillian. She has been studying, when time allows, the written Castillian dialect but is not yet proficient in it.

Civil Skills

With her large stature, shock of red hair and distinctive good looks it can be hard to miss Kerrin on the streets of Altimira. If you are not sure just look for the statuesque Avalonian lass carrying a claymore, knife and brace & a half of pistols. If you can manage not to turn your nose up at a lass not dressed as a proper lady then you may just have found the hero you are looking for.

Mark

I have a question about cards. At Total I only played the second half of PA due to funny scheduling of another event. Which is fine because I had not purchased a background anyway. Are there no cards given for Pa, you didn't give me one because I only played half of it or we were going to do it at the end to avoid disrupting the flow of the game and forgot? I don't remember what we said we were going to do. I'm ok with either. I know I didn't loose the card because I have a bag just for your games and it is not there. If I should have one then could you pick one at random for me and bring it to either the TC game day or our next Champions game?

You didn't miss one. We talked about this quite long back and decided to not issue cards at "extra" events. As of right now, that includes: PA sessions, invite only games, larps, and society missions. We are issuing for Domingo Gigante and all the games listed as episodes. (on your first play of that episode).

I had not played 7th Sea or had any rules books when I played the first game. I used a template he had online and the booklets at the table before the first game to flesh it out. Now that I have PDFs of the rules I found an error Mark didn't catch when he reviewed the character. He says it is because, "Sorry I usually avoid Sidhe stuff like the plague so I didn't catch it earlier." I told him to say it was the rum as it was more piratical. He had a half table of people new to the system so it is fine. I had only used 1 of the offending bits actively and don't think the others had any effect. So I made the concept I used to build the character into an official background and a couple of small tweaks.

So I only played 1 scheduled event, which was the PA, all weekend. By all weekend I mean getting there around 5pm on Saturday.
