So, the Secret Society Book is now a done deal. Cathay isn't going to happen until all these books are done (their production schedule runs through 2017), but then it will be a compatible stand-alone game. There are a total of eleven sourcebooks made possible by the Kickstarter, plus the core book. There're now tiers that let you pick up all 11 sourcebooks (typically $40 each) and the core book ($60) for $450.

And there's still three days left.

John will not drop the ball. He's a consummate professional.

Now, if it were me... Yeah, you would be lucky to see the core book arrive but that's why I don't write for a living.

And since I'm sort of delusional about these funding things, thanks to Jurgen for spending 13k on this.

So, who wants to play Shadowrun?

I did NOT spend 13k on this!

Less than one and a half...

And on an entirely unrelated note, my girlfriend isn't on this forum.

Ahem. So, this Shadowrun game... Mind if I join from under the table? It might be safe there.

Mark, if you spent 13k, you are not moving in with me when you get kicked out.

as for shadowrun, I was planning on running the whole thing under a table. it's good cover.

IF I had backed at the 13k level, I'd assume I could just move in with John.

It's been forever since I've played SR. Last thing I did was A (as in one, single) run (actually took two sessions though) for the oldest and his friend

Shoot straight, conserve ammo, and never deal with a dragon.

Even under the table.

Not in my experience.

It's shoot first, empty your ammo and FRAME the dragon.

It is soo like something Dave would do, just to have the Dragon bite the ass of the GM.

Nope. They've got one for $1.25M too. A trailer for a movie or TV series.

I don't give a rat's ass about the game (I'm not a high strategy guy), though I wish them all the success and stuff.

But an in-setting movie??? I'd be all over that.

My Shadowrun GM was arguably the best the system ever saw. The trick is to frame the dragon through the players he doesn't like.

Diplomacy style board game..
Rob, I have a group ready to playtest that as early as this Tuesday. I am most serious about this offer.

Let's see, a dozen books, maps AND a board game... Can I just redirect my paychecks to a JWP account?

Oddly, our LARP group is partly trying to figure out how to save a dragon. Mostly because there's a chance the world will disintegrate without her presences, because the guy currently containing her power is literally cracking up.

Saw John acknowledge the video. You all totally need to introduce yourselves at the next con and make him buy you drinks ( I think he can cover that).

Watched it again... Still awesome.

1.31 million... That is a lot of guilders
Production schedule is posted and my only issue might be pushing the Samartian material back as far as they have

Intrigued by the explorer's concept on drive thru. Might have to cobble some basic adventures for that. (O'Bannon pub crawl).

Ok, if that's an actual pub crawl with the O'Bannon, I'm calling safeword. And hiding. in south Ifri somewhere.
