Yeah, but I already did that. They need some new ideas not just us old guys doing it the way it was.

I will admit to a desire to jump in but realistically, I cannot commit to the deadlines they will need.

I hope to soon be the writer that has contributed the least to the game very soon.

He's not El Vago anymore. He's El Vagabundo.

Madres Contra El Vagabundo... Probably the parents of all those assassins who've gone after Good King Sandoval.

You obviously have been playing the Heroes of Altamira.

I was going to recommend, "He's a Waissen. Doesn't really talk except for the word sausage. No memory of where he is from or why he is here."

Yes he is. But again, outline topics really tell us nothing.

Preview?

I got tons of work, adventures to edit, a horde of sick friends and relatives... I'll read that book when it actually gets mailed to me.

OK, I looked at char gen. Backgrounds in the new edition are going to need to be open to player created options (with GM approval) because as it stands, I can't figure out how to build 3 of our campaign's most popular PCs.

Don't get me wrong, I like it but it would benefit from offering a selection list for related skills, advantages and quirks.

Case in point, for those of you that remember my old Rodrigo character... His driving personality quirk is tied to the Orphan background which has nothing else relevant to the character.

And the cost on Sorcery is so low you all will make me cry because it's going to become a "why not" ability.

The answer to "why not" is "Look at the sorceries" Wanna use porte? take a dramatic. Hexencraft? Better be a grave robber. the sarmation thing? Remember hating wish spells with a wiseguy DM? Same thing. glamour got merged with the knights of elaine. the only sorceror i expect to see become "Why not" is the chosen of matushka.

Not sure how much I like the sorcery changes. Then again, I think the Pole equivalent should be to summon the bear cavalry instead anyway...

OK, peeked at the secret society section. Granted, I know there is a lot more going on and the sourcebook will get to it and add the cool bits. But DK reads like they got the wires crossed. We went looking for monsters, didn't find them, came back to discover we got sold out so now we work as secret monster hunters. Granted, I like it as much as the old secret church guard but it would work better if they had come home having found a secret or source to confront.

And the Rose and Cross... You all know I have been all about the R&C forever and a day. But this description made them sound like the most boring and lame group ever. If my adventures as a member are supposed to be about recruiting financial backers, I'm looking for a new group.

And that group is the shawl. Reads like the Red Cross teamed up with Doctors without Borders and signed on Bono and brought the hippies along for the ride.

Y'know, Mike and I joke about adapting "Shark Tank" for 7th Sea...
