3rd greatest adventure ever. Thwak's "Masks" adventure and the Villanova cruise were better.

Well, I thank you all for the complements.

When we get full mechanics I shall write it up and put it out for the explorer's thing. (With the pregens).

Got an unrelated question: has anybody sat down and rolled a batch of test checks to see what to expect for results?

I did a small sample of around 50 rolls and noticed a trend that may just be my dice.

The trial run was 6 dice comparing traditional 6k3 with explosions to the new groups of ten results. My 6k3 average is around 32 but fluctuated from 15 to 65 (yay Exploding dice). However my new system results are 3 successes 87% of the time with a single result of 1 and nothing beyond 4.

So it looks like a given you are going to roll about half the successes of your die pool. My worry with this is using that number to resolve imitiative. If all the players are roughly even in stats and rolling the same number of dice, they are probably all looking at the same Initiative so who the hell is going first?

But someone with better math skills should look at this. (Not something I spent ranks on).

I think if it becomes an issue, Im going to give it to the person who used all their dice, and go clockwise from there. or the person with the lowest remainder.

I was thinking of adding the total on the roll as tie breaker

limit of five people with the mask... it has some sort of power...

sounds like a heresy to me. I may need to side with the inquisition on this one.

Great. So we have the bum's mask and grandma's scarf.. Secret Societies are all about the accessories.

The O'Bannon's boots, fate witch veils, Romeo's wristband... We have always been about the accessories.

Worry when the list includes Matushka's unmentionables.

The Kickstarter has included a request for volunteers to assist with the introduction of 2.0 at GenCon.

That might prove to be interesting, so I have volunteered! :)

My plan is to ask John directly if he will send us some promotional stuff for 2nd Ed. We pass it out at our games and he can mention our living campaign at the JWP booth.

Um, do you have enough GMs to handle it if that exposure pays off?

I believe more than half of the GoSM players are, or could be, GMs.

There are some that could, some that should and some that do.

There are also some who won't and some who shouldn't. A few who can't but would like to and many that just don't want to.

And I really get the don't want to when you are playing a campaign and want to avoid spoilers.

And I really cannot emphasize enough that if you are attending a con, you should go to play. If you go to run, you should be doing it on scheduled events and get reimbursed in exchange for not getting to play.

Well, I am not. Too busy with the day job. So I am not stealing your spots.

Besides, my writing sample would have just read, "see chapter one of Rapier's edge. I test on my case on my old work".
