Today I got a new vision of Hell.

The place for everything else.

Today I got a new vision of Hell.

I found out it is not of the Fire and Brimstone as most people believe. Noooooo, it's something that most people would think is wonderful and beautiful.

FLOWERS! Boxes and Boxes of FLOWERS!
PLANTS! Boxes and Boxes of PLANTS!

All that need to be checked in for Inventory, because they decided to have an inventory just before Mother's Day.
So try, counting bunches of flowers as you prep them, while being interrupted by customers who have no concept of "Grab and Go". NO, they must ask you which of the bunches of said flowers is the freshest, even though all of the ones they are asking about came out of the same box, so they are all the same freshness.

Then another customer wants to know what color is the best color of the Orchids. Not once today, not twice today, but she came back three times in as many hours, to see what new Orchids we might have, and needed to ask me which one I liked the best of each one that she grabbed. She was buying them for friends, and I told her that it didn't matter which one I liked, she was picking it out and should go with what she liked.

So I'm still trying to make sure I get what I can prepped because it's busy with people already going crazy trying to decide what to get their Mom's, wrap flowers, count flowers, answer phones and answer stupid questions on the phone, like:
"Do you have any Peonys?"
"Yes. They come in a 5 stem bunch for $12.00."
"Can I just buy three?"
"No, they come in a 5 stem bunch, and are sold buy the bunch."
"But, what if I bring my own vase, can I just buy three then?"
"They come in a 5 stem bunch."
"So I can't buy three?"
And so on and so forth.

So my new view of Hell is Mother's Day Week in a permanent closed circle like Groundhog Day (The movie), with lots of flowers and plants, and crazy customers that gets repeated and repeated and repeated.

Don't leave us in suspense. What color is the best color of the Orchids?

Well, that's not very helpful.

The correct answer is the one you have the most of in stock.

I think that is only involved in a particular PA.
