I really liked Rogue One...

But just I saw it today for the first time. And after Tues, the ending made me cry just a little more than I expected.

But yes. Sad times. its gonna be sad times next year at ep 8, since carrie fisher got all her scenes done shooting already.

It is the perfect 2016 movie.

I went and saw it twice and intended to get there at least once more. (Yeah, Mr. "Star wars was cool bit I'm over it" is going again)

Also note Debbie Reynolds just passed away (Carrie's mom)
I don't mind growing old... but I hate growing up.

I do not recommend shouting "Hey, does this o e have Spock or Data?" as the lights go down. Far to few have a sense of humor about their space cowboys these days.

It was awesome overall. Some of the digital trickery was a bit unnerving, but well used.

We've seen it three times now (and the ticket taker the second time remembered us from the week before).

I thought it was good - very different in feel from the other SW movies, but I enjoyed it (possibly because of the difference in feel).
