Freedom of Information Day (so no charge for the rest of the holidays today)

Artichoke Hearts Day (finally, a nutritious event this month. Try some on a pizza and wreck that plan)

Farm Rescuer Day (so save a farm and take it home)

Quilting Day (so celebrate with a game of Patchwork)

Panda Day (they may be cute but a bear is a bear... No hugging)

And...

Everything You Do is Right Day (so, so not true. Except for Charlie, he is infallible)

That is it. Get your Orange shirts ready for tomorrow.

It is Saint Patrick's Day. (The most overblown event of the year)

And...

Corned Beef and Cabbage Day (because that was not obvious to 4 people somewhere)

Ah, Nutrition Month.

Lacy Oatmeal Cookie Day (Oatmeal is healthy. Add in lots of Butter, Sugar, Oil and...not so much)

Sloppy Joe Day (so much better than a slovenly Frank)

Biodiesel Day (that is fuel made out of soybeans not people)

Supreme Sacrifice Day

And ...

Awkward Moments Day (like trying to work Supreme Sacrifice day into a joke thread)

Certified Nurses Day (because there are an abundance of uncertified nurses working just as hard who deserve nothing)

Chocolate Caramel Day (easiest way to get a holiday is to add chocolate)

Poultry Day (chickens, geese, ducks, turkeys... don't be choosy, this is the most nutrition we have had all month)

And...

Let's Laugh Day (if you have nothing to laugh about, feel free to laugh AT me)

Native HIV/AIDS Awareness Day. (Again, not sure why there is a need to hold separate awareness days for specific groups of people)

Ravioli Day (try a version you never eat. Maybe a new filling or sauce you normally don't use)

Proposal Day (I can think of NOTHING more romantic than proposing on a day the powers that be designated...no, wait, any other plans sounds better)

Kick Butts Day (I will guess this is a stop smoking event. I am down with this. It is a rotten passtime)

And...

With a projected high temp of 47, Spring Begins! (6 weeks after Groundhog Day, go figure)

Because usually people who aren't Straight White Men tend to get ignored otherwise...

California Strawberry Day (again singling out some perceived subgroup that has no special significance.

Common Courtesy Day (thank you)

Frangrance Day (as a common courtesy, please keep it subtle)

And...

Single Parent Day (out of all the parents in the world, I have no idea which single parent we are honoring but the odds are good they have at least one kid that asked to skip school for the holiday)

Chia Day (totally nutritious. Do something special with your green fuzzy Terra Cotta pets)

Chip and Dip Day (you can go traditional French Onion or do something less confirming.)

And...

Near Miss Day (I prefer a Near Miss to a Far Away Miss or an Ole' Miss)

Tater Day (po-tay-toes! Boil 'em, mash 'em, stuck 'em in a stew)

Prom Day (on a Sunday? Seems weird to me)

Bunsen Burner Day (Science!)

And...
