Ok, for you guys that kinda forgot about today Uncle Sal is here to help.
Skip the purchase, make it yourself and go for the "Hanade because I love you angle"

Quarter fold a blank piece of paper, draw the traditional heart with the pierced arrow on the front with her and your initials (don't forget the little plus sign) and FILL the inside with a handwritten note about how much your significant other thrilled you on the day you met. (And follow with how they continue to dazzle you with their awesomeness every day.

THEN... Stop at the grocery, buy a container of melting chocolate in the bakery aisle (some even comes in it's own microwave cup) and grab a package of strawberries. Kept as per instructions and dip those berries. They will not look store perfect but that is a good thing because you made them on your own. (And yes, you can make them at what to in a break room as long as you can secure them in your car, the cold will help set them. If you want to get fancy grab a bag of coconut or crushed nuts to sprinkle them with.

Caregivers Day (so give a care)
Gumdrop Day (because there was not enough candy already this week)
Singles Awareness Day (apparently not everyone who is single considers it the best thing ever and needs validation)
And...
Wisconsin Day (because we need more cheese, butter and lakes)

Almond Day (which is just nuts)
And...
Do a Grouch a Favor Day. (Which won't be appreciated)

Cabbage Day
And...
Random Acts of Kindness Day (so give someone a cabbage and don't explain why)

I will give the rest of the gamers a game (plus the chocolate chip cookie brownies I made last night). Will that do for Kindness?

Presidents Day (a day on which the president's job is technically closed)

Crab Stuffed Flounder Day (draw your own coincidences)

Drink Wine Day (again, you can infer what you want on that)

And...
Battery Day (so go check yours in the smoke detector)

...and it's my birthday.

So YOU are the President they keep talking about... I can live without the that.

Go celebrate with some flounder and wine. (It's better than what Mark's birthday gets)

Chocolate Mint Day (we celebrate an awful lot of candy)

Lash Day (no idea if that involves eyelashes, beatings or tying things down)

Cherry Pie Day (fun fiction: Washington must have hated cherry pie, he cut down the tree)

It's another one of those days that is so important that nobody even tried to move in and claim it. Just one major holiday.

Tooth Fairy Day (average rate is now $2)

Minnesota Day (a holiday in their natural element)

Peanut Butter Lovers Day (because they are special and can't celebrate on peanut day... Damn snowflakes)

Pig Day (another barnyard battle with the horses is expected)

Read Across America Day (aka Dr. Suess Day...the Dr. has a new book coming out about a horse museum. Coincidence?)

I like many of these days, though I need Pig Day to be slow roasted and pulled with BBQ sauce.
