It's Valentine's Day (but you should have remembered that on your own)
It is also...
Cream Filled Chocolates Day (I think someone jumped on their own bandwagon)
Organ Donor Day (but if you have a piano, they will take that too)
And...
Ferris Wheel Day (another event that gets you nowhere, I am sending a theme)

Ok, for you guys that kinda forgot about today Uncle Sal is here to help.
Skip the purchase, make it yourself and go for the "Hanade because I love you angle"

Quarter fold a blank piece of paper, draw the traditional heart with the pierced arrow on the front with her and your initials (don't forget the little plus sign) and FILL the inside with a handwritten note about how much your significant other thrilled you on the day you met. (And follow with how they continue to dazzle you with their awesomeness every day.

THEN... Stop at the grocery, buy a container of melting chocolate in the bakery aisle (some even comes in it's own microwave cup) and grab a package of strawberries. Kept as per instructions and dip those berries. They will not look store perfect but that is a good thing because you made them on your own. (And yes, you can make them at what to in a break room as long as you can secure them in your car, the cold will help set them. If you want to get fancy grab a bag of coconut or crushed nuts to sprinkle them with.

Caregivers Day (so give a care)
Gumdrop Day (because there was not enough candy already this week)
Singles Awareness Day (apparently not everyone who is single considers it the best thing ever and needs validation)
And...
Wisconsin Day (because we need more cheese, butter and lakes)

So YOU are the President they keep talking about... I can live without the that.

Go celebrate with some flounder and wine. (It's better than what Mark's birthday gets)

I am so glad you don't own sheep.

And at your age, the first thought at the mention of cherry pie SHOULD be Twin Peaks and a damn fine cup of coffee.

Sticky Bun Day.

That is all so you have no conflicts to excuse yourself for not celebrating.
(And I expect a picture from the con celebrating this one)

It's another one of those days that is so important that nobody even tried to move in and claim it. Just one major holiday.

Today is...

Tortilla Chips Day!!!!!!!

So get yourself some guac and/or some mango salsa and go crazy.

Lots to cover today as we wrap up the month and need to cram a bunch of holidays in since we are a couple days shorter. Here goes.

Chili Day (this one makes sense in the winter)

Chocolate Souffle Day (that rolls off the tongue)

Floral Design Day (I would like a vase full of flowers that looks like a vase full of flowers)

Rare Disease Day (no gifts, please)

Tooth Fairy Day (average rate is now $2)

And...

Public Sleeping Day (so take your pillow and a blankie to the grocery and see what they do when you lie down and snooze in the cookie aisle)

I like many of these days, though I need Pig Day to be slow roasted and pulled with BBQ sauce.
