So I found a pretty good fantasy comedy this weekend. It's absurdist humor similar to the work of Pratchett and Christopher Moore syphoned through the pun names of Asprin's Myth series.

The title is "No Country for Old Gnomes". by Delilah Dawson and Kevin Hearne.

The liner description solde with a single concept...

Proper civilized Gnomes who hate conflict at war with Halflings mounted on War Alpacas.

I repeat... Halflings on War Alpacas.
