I just found out about this.

Brian Blume, one of the founders of TSR passed away at the end of March at the age of 70. He had been dealing with Parkinson's Disease and some related issues.

Brian was part of the financial backing that got D&D published, went on to run the company with his brother Kevin and Gary Gygax. He also wrote the original Rogues Gallery for D&D, co-wrote Boot Hill, and named Vecna (possibly even created him, that is a hazy story though).

Yesterday the world lost Rueben Klamer. He was 99.

And now you all say who?

Rueben invented The Game of Life for Milton Bradley in 1960.

Mr. Klamer apparently opted for the really long route around the board.
