Caught a TV ad today for a "law firm" looking for people to join a class action suit.

Near the end of the pitch, the spokesperson tosses out the following line:

"Remember; if WE don't win, YOU don't win."

Seems like that is kind of how lawsuits work, if your lawyer wins the case, so do you. Except they tend to make more off of it when the bills and fees get settled.

I may steal that for my new gaming mantra: "If I don't win, you don't win"

(It may be more accurate if i word it as "If I'm not going to win, I am damn sure I will be taking you down with me.)

It's Christmas so I just decided minutes ago I wanted to hear 2000 miles by the Pretenders and foolishly opened the official video on Youtube.

It's bad. It's bad for an early MTV video. It's a clunky, stomp around a set bad acting nightmare of a video that makes no sense in terms of the actual theme of the song or the presumed them of the song.It sort of follows the literal words of the song.

It's a trainwreck that i will never be able to unsee and it has me wondering...

Why was Santa Claus wearing a miner's lamp? And is he going to kill the band?

Not exactly wrong. Some don't have a Christmas at all.

Some have a different Independence Day but they all have the same 4th of July...let them think about that for a while.

What if Vincent Van Gogh considered himself a "photo-realist" but just had really bad eyesight?

This week in Ohio,

The Mayor of Hudson balked at the idea of permitting ice fishing on ponds and lakes in their parks. Try and follow his logic train.

1-if we allow ice fishing, people are going to want to get permits to fish inside shanties. (The little houses people drag on the lake to fish inside of, oit of the wind)

2- if we allow shanties, it will lead to prostitution taking place inside the shanties.

Nobody including the city council can make heads or tails of this logic leap.

But now i am wondering, "How many guys who took up ice fishing this year are now getting dubious looks from their spouses?

I never used shanties when I ice-fished (back in ancient times). LUXURY~!

So that's why there was a dozen cars out on the lake Friday. Yeah that makes sense.

One of my former mall employees has an interesting anecdote that leads to a question.

Back in the day, he went with his sister and mother to the midnight premiere of Twilight (that is his story he is sticking to it). When Robeet Patrinson first appeared on screen, this fellow jumped up, pointed at the screen and shouted, "That's Cedric Diggory!"

The fans were not happy with the onterruption and all turned to glare at him. But, he was never forced to see another Twilight movie. (Not saying he has not attended another, he may have)

But now, I am wondering will he do this again during The Batman?

But will it be "Cedric Diggory" or (and I had to look this up, to be clear) "Edward Cullen"?

With the person involved...it will be Cedric. The nerd is strong in that one.

(If you ever watched the tv show Community, i suspect this guy was the inspiration for Garrett)

Reese Cups have a new ad campaign... Reese's University.

Call me nuts, but I kinda want to enroll.

Anybody want to go back to school with me? We can game every night until we flunk out.
