Hope you're all looking forward to today (assuming you're here in America) and surrounded by loved ones (whether they're drunk or not). I'll be thinking about you and wishing you were here*. Like cpugs said in the Events thread, looking forward to seeing you all once again.
Mark
*this offer doesn't apply to Rebecca who will, in point of fact, be here.

Or, you know, stay home and avoid conflict with relatives while enjoying a nice frozen dinner. (If you prefer that)
Regardless of what you all are doing, I hope you all have a good day whatever it brings.

Hope everyone had a great T-Day! I spent mine relaxing at home, in quiet solitude. So nice to be away from the loud and noisy store that I worked at yesterday. Got tomorrow off too, and hope to get some more sewing done!

Ok I'm back from Disney World (yes, my father-in-law had us all meet there for Turkey Day) My oldest (who turned 12 on Tues while we were there) had a blast at Harry Potter World at Universal Studios (we went for his b-day) and the rest of the kiddos had their own fun including scuba diving and some solo time with dad/mom.
Thanks to SS for resurrecting this thread. I got to wish everyone happy thanksgiving without really doing it

A lot of bad things happened to me this year (falling twice, several physical aging issues, death of favorite cousin, and more) but even more good things happened as well (going to Boston last Feb among them)!
I have a lot to be thankful for!

Sorry to hear that, Mike. I'd noticed you'd been quiet for quite some time.

Will we be seeing you again this year?

There's a good chance of it!

This year could have gone a LOT better. (My) Mike's grandmother fractured four ribs day before and spent Thanksgiving in the hospital and his uncle has crossed the line into creepydom by dropping his pants in front of me and my mother-in-law (his own sister) to "adjust" himself -- and not apologizing for it.

I have a reservation for two nights at the Con hotel but still have not decided on an itinerary for Boston proper. I'd like to take in the symphony and the art museum this time, and to take in more of the art galleries in the Back Bay.
And, I have my senior Charlie Card!
