Very cool find Laura, but did you know they're building exact replicas (complete with phone and flame exhaust) over in England?

It can be yours for just $150K

LOL, Mark. So, thats what a copy is going for. Imagine what the original will go for. I don't have enough body parts to even dream of owning it.

I can't drive it to work in the winter and it only seats two. Useless item.

Yeah, at least our new Honda has butt-warming seats.

You mean it doesn't come with bat-chains?

Well, I probably wouldn't drive it much anyway, it being a classic collectable. But it sure would look good sitting in the driveway, and my regular car could have the sticker on it saying "My other car is The Batmobile!" and it would be true! LOL

But sometimes its fun having a car built for two. ;)

I am not worried about traction. If nothing else the rocket on the back should melt you out. I just prefer a car with a roof. (and the batmobile likely hat "bat-warming" seats)

Now you've got me wondering if it might have had a retractable 'batroof' for rainy days and such which we never saw since they filmed in CA.

And as for the two seat issue, hey, I can always stuff the kiddos in the trunk...
