Mark and all, run do not walk and pick up Deadlands Noir. It is a Savage Worlds product, but it is deeply influenced by Deadlands. It is set in 1935 New Orleans in a very gritty, very interesting time period. The book is worth the read just for the history from the Wierd west untilo 1935.

I saw the kickstarter on this and it looked intriguing, but what kept me from buying into it was that it uses Savage Worlds which, despite the ga-ga of its fans, is way too much a miniatures simulation for me. Though if it has good fluff, I might port over original Deadlands rules...
