Well, today I had late shift at work, and was able to catch up with a friend there, that I really hadn't been hanging around with much, mostly because I felt she was getting a bit clingy. She tends to use words like "sweety" and "honey" to me, and she's not from the south. Well, we walked out from work to our cars in the church parking lot, and being woman, were talking about men and relationships. She is a divorced woman, and has been for quite a while, or at least as long as I have know her.

I don't know remember how it came up, but suddenly we are talking about how long it had been since I had been on a date (way way too long), and she pops out with "Honey, I'd marry you if I could, your soo sweet!"

Uh.., yah.., ok then. First time a woman ever told me that. Last time someone told me that, it was a gay guy, and he told me that if he was straight, he would marry me. Where in life am I going wrong, that I have gay men and divorced women telling me they'd marry me, when I can't even just get a date with a regular guy?
Sigh.

Actually, if you go to Denmark, I can do the honours and marry you, I even have a lovely medieval church you can get married in.

Maybe someday I can take you up on the offer, just got to find myself the right guy.

Though getting there may be a bit harder than finding the right guy, as I have a fear of flying, so would have to go by boat.
