So one of the perks of working for Whole Foods, is that we get to go on Team Builds. Team Builds are a once a year thing, where the whole department (ours being Produce) take a day and go do something together. So we are going to Georges Island on the 11th.
I have never been, but it has a fort, and I am hopeing to get some neet pictures of some "fort stuff" so we can have them for our gaming.
Anyway, here is a link to the site.

Those island forts are neat! I remember exploring the ones in Casco Bay when I was a kid on vacation.

Due to the weather going to be raining tomorrow, they have decided not to go to Georges Island, and instead do the most boring thing in the world for gaming - bowling. Enough said.

Bowling is not the most boring thing in the world to do. That title is reserved for the beanbag toss thing everyone in the midwest is all gaga over. Seriously, "toss the beanbag underhand into the hole in that board over there". And you still get points just for landing on the board!. At least in bowling, pins fall down and reward you with a satisfying crash.

I guess most people would get a satisfying crash, me, I get "roll", "skid", "thump" as it goes into the gutter, no satisfying crash, hence why I just totally hate the game.

Yeah, it's basically horseshoes with bean bags.
On a sidenote, people around here call that game "Cornholin'". Which gives me an endless amount of joy.

Around here it's called "Bean Bag Toss", and usually its only played at birthday parties for kids 10 and younger.

My brother-in-laws and their extended families are OBSESSED with cornhole. They have a tournament every summer, AKA, "The Day Lady Grace Stays Home & ODs on True Crime TV".
