Also, as long as I get the time off (which really should NOT be an issue) I'll be there to assist with the GMing if needed/wanted.

JUST got an update on all our events, we are in Marriott (NOT the JW) this year. All the events are in the Michigan room (First floor) tables 1-3.

I know you all won't believe this (me being as sleep deprived as I am) but between Dave and I we have the PA for GenCon almost finished. (Ken I believe you will enjoy this one)

Got a message from the Postal Service to come in and sign for my Gen Con registration and tickets.

While I didn't have to wait in line, I still had to drive to the Post Office. I suppose, overall, it's worth the $10.

For $499 I will take the time next year to stand in line for you AND play all your events so you can stay home and not have to do anything.

Well, as I may have mentioned already, Gen Con may already have become too expensive for us oldsters, who can't take much advantage of the Exhibit Hall any more. Our feet hurt too much, it's too crowded, there aren't enough places to sit here and there, and there are more and more products that have little to do with gaming.

I'm not above getting a motel off-site, using $3.50 all-day parking and walking, or taking carry-in food.

But, it's just getting too expensive to attend. (And $499 is getting there. :])

I may have to forego the PA at Gen Con. And, hey, for $499 I can look into going to Boston again every year!

We could just show up at the golf course and kidnap him.

Won't work, he doesn't know how to use a hammer let alone a complicated tool like a wrench.

A wrench is just two rocks together that can be used to turn things.

So, my days of going to Gen Con may be over. Sniff.

My first was at Wisconsin Parkside, when they just moved from Lake Geneva.

It's more expensive. I no longer have the time to go to the Exhibit Hall- or even to the auxiliary Halls. Now, even the parking is out of hand. Last year the gigantic 5000 car lot was $5.50 per day. Now, it's 'unavailable'.

Oh, well.

Assuming they let Mark back into the country, it should be fun.

Attention all the GenCon GMs:
Plan for a busy con as we have sold out all but two events. And other than Plaid Chameleon's LARPs and SidheShadow's two games, we're the only 7th Sea in town...

(EDIT spoke too soon, seems 2nd Ed finally made its way onto the system).

I may, (GASP) have to turn some people away...
