Don Gallo is probably, no - most definitley , the greatest and most awesome bullfighter to have ever graced Castile with his presence. Now some people might say, "Don Gallo, while I can't deny your awesomeness, for I am in awe at this very moment, how can you be the greatest of bullfighter if I've never seen you fight in the bullfighting ring?" Don Gallo understands this question, but Don Gallo is merely giving the other bullfighters one last chance to shine before his brilliance eclipses them forever more. In the mean time, Don Gallo has been letting the people of Altimira bask in his magnificence as he rights wrongs, smites witches, and helps little old ladies cross the street.

Don.
F'n.
Gallo.
Also, don't forget about Don Gallo's very generous donations to the Vaticine Church. He's a very pious man.
This is what happens when you mess with a stranger in the Alps.

So I noticed this on the Town Crier page of the main website.
"Back at home the Swordsman's Guild has just confirmed the Torres school has become officially sanctioned. This markes the end of years of negotiations since the school first declined acceptance into the Guild in 1644."
Does this mean Torres school should grant Membership Swordsman's Guild instead of a free dot in on of the school's knacks?

Leave it to Don Gallo to correct the GMs... Yes, you now get SG membership and no bonus pip.

Just for the record, I was trying to figure out why you thought it was unsanctioned but figured since I would prefer a free rank to guild membership, you would too and was going to stay quiet. And I love your formatting with recording all your upgrades and costs.

You thought it was unsanctioned because I told you it was unsanctioned, because that's what it says in the Castille book.

Ah, that would do it. Sometimes I forget that the rest of the world never saw certain updates that were destined for a certain website after Rapier's Edge. Somebody had a plothook that involved sanctioning a couple swordschools including Torres. (and a big round robin duel to participate in).

The worst part is that I had read that page on the Guild of San Marcos before making the character. I hadn't decided what to play, and was leaning towards sorcery, so it translated into "Blah Blah Blah, Swordsman School sanctioned that I don't recognize and will never need to know anything about."

No, he is saying the Great Don Gallo (Don Gallo!!!) didn't think he needed sanction and recognition beyond his own abilities and any use of a swordschool is simply a merciful attempt on his part to give his opponents a chance.
