Nah, I'm local and I've had my gaming stuff sitting in the appropraite bags for weeks. I had to pull some out so I could game last Sunday.

Well, some of us don't buy every physical copy of Soohia's Daughters that we see for sale.

See, what I love about Sam (well, one of the things...he has many good qualities) is that he gets the concept that ONE bag will not carry all your gaming stuff. You really need at least 2 gaming bags for a convention.

If you are GMing a major campaign... you may need sherpas.

So for those not here, sorry to not see you.

Games are going well so far.

Those who have had a chance to play 1 and 2 of Canguine have been a blast.

I.want to personally thank (in seating order) Stephen, Amanda, Trent, Scott, Tim, Craig, and Shane for letting me join them on the Road to Canguine wednesday night. We had some cool character concepts and a couple that changed drastically by the end of the session.

More to come.

Well, this has been a thing.

We are off to a great start on the canpaign. Gathered a couple new faces. Missing some old friends as well.

Origins staff will be getting an earful about table bookings.

Domingo shall be starting soon and then it is sad, go home time far too soon.

The 50th Origins is now a thing to be remembered.

Was it the Best Origins ever? Probably not but it was a very fun Origins because of all of you.

If you are new to us, welcome to the crew. Every one of you new players brought something creative with you that is going to add to the fun of what we are doing. I enjoyed having that at all my tables. (Well, except that ONE guy named Jeremy)

To the extended family,
I love every one of you more than I can express. In a perfect world, I would spend 11 months with you amd 1 month at home. (So I have time to write the PA) I miss you all already.

Do not listen to any rumors, I swear I dropped Jeremy off at his house. Whatever happened after that was not my doing.

I will not so quietly wait to see you all next year at Origins. Possibly sooner.

I had a great time playing Aodhán this week. Thank you to all those at my tables for creating such fun stories!

Yeah... about those stories. You all are playing many of those close to the vest. When stuff starts coming to light, it will get really interesting.

Now many of you brought great ideas with you back in Altamira. (And again here) but the stories that really raised my eyebrows are the ones coming from the returners who were far less experienced players in that first campaign and opened Altamira without any big personal stories.

Getting direct demonstrations of how those players have shown up with some great stories of their own is a huge complement to Mark and myself that they are invested in our game already. But it is an even bigger complement to the players who showed them how to do that the first time around.

Fair warning: those players are coming for your spotlight at the table.

Charlie, to.steal a concept you put out there years ago...

You all don't need to thank me for running games. I can run games at home all year but they would be mostly for people I don't enjoy being around. You all are a pleasure to run for and give me enough entertainment for well, 355 days.

As for Hallway gaming... there is hallway gaming and then there is HALLWAY GAMING. This was one session in a quiet side hall on sunday. If.we.were.doing it right, we even got attention from a couple passersby who remember to look is up next year. That's hallway gaming. (Even the accoustics were better than Madison 3)

Now, Ken missed the year of HALLWAY GAMING where we had to run 5 days of events at tables placed at the top of the escalator to the food court. Eight above the chinese restaurant. This was back when that landing was narrower, food options were fewer, and there was a steady non-stop line of folks going up and down all day long. It was loud, distracting and a fire hazard. That was HALLWAY GAMING. Mark's voice was done by friday morning.
